Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week

Due to the end-of-year testing schedule, Chatham Charter is celebrating Teacher and Staff Appreciation during the week of April 7th instead of the first week of May. The PTSA has special plans that include raffles, treats, and car duty volunteer support. The Junior Beta Club members have also assisted with pre-celebration preparation and during morning car rider duty. The week kicks off with some campus decorations as everyone arrives back from spring break on Tuesday, April 7.

To give both rotations of staff who have morning car rider duty a break, volunteers are helping cover the weeks of March 23th and April 6th. Families can still look forward to being greeted as they arrive.

Using items donated by community partners and school parents, staff will enjoy raffles items such as gift cards and gift baskets. The elementary student leading the Pledge of Allegiance each morning during announcements will draw names of staff who will receive gifts for that day. On Friday, even more drawings will be a highlight as the week winds down.

A couple of rounds of snacks during the week will be available for the staff to enjoy when they have a break. At different points during the school year, the PTSA provides food and other gestures of encouragement for the staff to express their appreciation on behalf of families.
