Supporting Hurricane Relief Efforts

Multiple individuals in the Chatham Charter community expressed a desire to support Hurricane Helene relief efforts. During Knights Family Weekend the Senior Beta Club held a raffle with proceeds going to Red Cross of North Carolina. The school is now sponsoring a drive to collect items that will be sent to people in need through the Bonlee Fire Department. Donation boxes will be on campus in the elementary and high school lobbies. The Chatham Charter community and those the donations will help appreciate everyone’s spirit of giving during this most difficult time for many people. Additionally, students are creating cards/notes/letters of encouragement to send to response workers/volunteers or individuals who may be temporarily staying in shelters.
