Support the Polar Plunge

On Saturday, March 1, a team from Chatham Charter will once again be part of the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office Polar Plunge to support Special Olympics North Carolina. The Knights team fundraising goal is $2,000 to help the Sheriff’s Office reach its goal of $50,000. Donations can be made here. Anyone interested in joining the team can contact Assistant Principal Katie English at kenglish@chathamcharter.org.

The school PTSA is encouraging student support by sponsoring K-8 hat days and ice cream purchases. Students can bring $2 per day or $5 for all week to their homeroom teachers and be allowed to wear a hat all day. Students can also purchase ice cream for $2 that is Smart Snack-approved. Choices include: strawberry shortcake bar, chocolate eclair bar, cookies and cream cone, and ice cream sandwich.
