Two members of the Chatham Charter staff have been recognized by their colleagues as the 2025-2026 Teacher of the Year and Teacher Assistant of the Year.

Emily Pasquarella, who teaches fourth grade, is the Teacher of the Year. She has worked at the school for the past six years. From Siler City, she earned a business/marketing degree from East Carolina University and a Master of Education from UNC Charlotte for a Master’s in Education. Over the course of 18 years, Ms. Pasquarella has taught kindergarten, second and fourth grade in charter schools and traditional public schools.

Brooke Boswell, who works in the Exceptional Children department, is the Teacher Assistant of the Year. Several years before coming on staff, she began devoting extensive volunteer time and leadership to the school PTSA.

Congratulations to Ms. Pasquarella and Ms. Boswell!
