Session Law (S.L.) 2023-106 is North Carolina legislation that is sometimes referred to as the Parents’ Bill of Rights. Several aspects of it are required to be in place in January of 2024 while other parts of the legislation will be active at the beginning of the next school year.

The Parent’s Guide to Student Achievement is a resource that endeavors to ensure the legal requirements in S.L. 2023-106 and State Board of Education (SBE) policy PRNT-002 are met by Chatham Charter School. Access the Chatham Charter Parent’s Guide to Student Achievement here. It is also linked on the Parents and Students overview webpage.
