Meet Our New Staff

Chatham Charter has a high staff retention rate, but the school family enjoys welcoming new staff when positions open. Kirsten Berger is the new high school social studies teacher. She previously taught at River Mill Academy and Seaforth High School. With Suzy Campbell moving from a teaching position into a new role as the reading/instructional specialist, Betsy Kolb filled the fifth grade teacher vacancy. Her previous teaching experience was at Virginia Cross Elementary and Horton Middle School. Andrew Whatley has joined the staff as an EC assistant/instructional support specialist. He has been a substitute teacher in Randolph County and has worked several years at a summer camp. (The new staff are pictured below from left to right.)
