Fall Sports Playoffs

Knights fall sports teams are having outstanding NCHSAA state playoff results. This post will continue to be updated, and a press release that includes all-conference honors will be published when all teams have finished their seasons.
On Saturday, October 28, the men’s and women’s cross country teams ran in the NCHSAA 1A Mideast Regional at WakeMed cross country course. The men’s cross country team had 6 runners and the women had 2 runners in the NCHSAA 1A Mideast Regional races on Saturday, October 28, in Cary. Torris Price, Adam Reese, and Sam Scott ran in the 1A state championship on Saturday, November 4, in Kernersville. Scott made a return appearance in the state championship meet and had also earned All-Regional honors for her 4th place finish.
The women’s tennis season ended with them being NCHSAA E Regional Runner-up on Wednesday, November 1, in a hard fought match against Voyager Academy.
Golfer Mackenzie Crossman competed for the fourth year in the NCHSAA 1A/2A women’s golf championship Monday & Tuesday, October 30 and 31, at Stonebridge Golf Club in Monroe. She finished 9th, and earned All-State honors each year of her high school golf career.
Elphie Spillman and Mak Allen played in the NCHSAA 1A women’s tennis individual state championship on Friday, October 27. Spillman, a senior, had an impressive four state championship appearances (one dual team, two doubles, 2023 individual) while Allen made it to the top 8 in the state as a sophomore.
The men’s soccer team lost to East Wake Academy in the 1st round of the NCHSAA soccer playoffs on Monday, October 30.
The volleyball team advanced to the 1st round of the state playoffs on Saturday, October 21.
