DECA Chapter Competes at Districts

The Chatham Charter chapter of DECA, an organization of marketing students, participated in its first competitive event of the school year on Wednesday, November 30. The District 4 competitive event, held at the Dennis A. Wicker Civic Center in Sanford, hosted approximately 330 high school students from twelve area high schools. Students had the opportunity to demonstrate skills in a role play with judges from education, business fields, and the community. Prior to the event, students took knowledge-based tests related to their competitive areas.
The Chatham Charter chapter had 49 students and two advisors who participated in the district event.
