Career and College Promise

The Chatham Charter academic program builds to the upperclassmen years when juniors and seniors take dual enrollment, transferable college credits through the tuition-free North Carolina Career & College Promise (CCP). The rigorous program, paired with how Chatham Charter carefully maximizes opportunities for its students to be able to take courses, allows the majority of graduates to complete a CCP Pathway. See the number of college courses each graduating class has taken here.
Approximately 75% of upperclassmen focus on a College Transfer Pathway that contains many general education courses they will need to complete a college degree. However, a number of students explore areas related to the skilled workforce. Chatham Charter has students taking courses in the following Career and Technical Education Pathways for this school year:
- Automotive Services Technology
- Business Administration
- Criminal Justice Technology
- Culinary Arts
- Early Childhood Education
- Health and Fitness Science
- Health Information Technology
- Information Technology
- Industrial Systems Technology
- Medical Assisting
