Overview
Chatham Charter Knights Athletics offers more than 30 sports teams over the course of three seasons for students in grades 6-12. Middle school teams participate in the Mid-State Conference while high school teams are in the NC High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) 1A Central Tar Heel Conference. Campus facilities include a gym, baseball field, softball field, two soccer fields, a cross country course, a practice track, and six tennis courts.
Expectations
Athletic administration and coaches reinforce Chatham Charter's academic expectations by having minimum grade requirements for participation. Families with students of all ages are encouraged to take an active role in the Athletic Boosters organization to ensure strong support and resources are in place to sustain an outstanding athletic program. In 2020, Knights Athletics added a Parent Code of Conduct to accompany its Student Athletic Handbook.
