Middle School
6-8: Strengthening Skills
The middle grades at Chatham Charter focus on strengthening academic mastery in preparation for high school. Students in grades 6-8 have daily elective courses in addition to core classes of Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. The sixth grade has Computer Science Discoveries, Physical Education, and (optional) Band electives. The seventh and eighth grade electives are scheduled during two afternoon periods on a semester schedule. Students take Visual Arts and Physical Education one semester and French and Marketing in the other semester. Band is also an elective option.
